Dear Employees :

As you are aware, Andlia Resources LLC does not provide the group health insurance for neither full-time nor part-time employees.  However, you may be eligible for individual medical coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare that begins on January 1st, 2014.

Under the terms of the act, employees who are not eligible to participate in a group insurance plan through their employer may be eligible for a tax-subsidized insurance policy.  These subsidized policies are only offered on the new Federal Exchanges about which you have already received a notice.  As an example, if you are a family of four and your income is between $23,550 and $94,200, you are eligible for a direct credit to help you pay the cost of your insurance.

In order to make this transition easier for our employees, we have arranged for our insurance broker, BrownBirk Benefits, LLC, to assist you in purchasing insurance on these new exchanges.
